The Deadfall

The Deadfall Maverick is a small knife with a serious backbone. The blade is low-layer 15N20 and 80CRV2, built for edge stability and real cutting, not looks. The pattern is there, but it’s secondary. What matters is how it behaves when you lean into it. The handle stack combines elk antler, mammoth tusk, TruStone, and G10 accents. All shaped once assembled so it fits the hand instead of fighting it. This knife doesn’t ask to be babied. It wants to be used, wiped off, and put back to work. It’s the kind of tool you forget you’re wearing until you need it, which is exactly how it should be.

About the Steel

The blade is low-layer 15N20 and 80CRV2 pattern weld. It takes a keen edge, holds it through real work, and sharpens without a fight. This steel is chosen for performance first, with the pattern being a byproduct, not the goal.

About the Handle

Rocky Mountain elk antler paired with mammoth tusk, separated by a TruStone spacer and locked in with G10 liners. Everything is shaped after assembly so it fills the hand naturally and stays secure when conditions aren’t ideal.

About the Sheath

Fitted leather sheath made to ride close and carry easy. Built for daily wear in the field, not just storage. The knife seats deep and comes out clean when you need it.
