The First Light
The First Light is what happens when I stop pretending everything has to look serious to work hard. It’s a Maverick pattern with a tight, controllable edge and a long enough handle to stay planted when you lean into it. The blade is low-layer pattern weld in 15N20 and 80CRV2. That combo gives you contrast, toughness, and an edge that doesn’t flinch when you ask something of it.
The handle is where this knife decides to have some fun. Silver carbon fiber paired with glow carbon fiber and a glow spacer that actually earns its keep in low light. It lights up without feeling like a gimmick. G10 liners and accents keep everything locked down and honest. I shape every handle by hand so it fills the grip instead of fighting it.
This knife isn’t subtle. It isn’t supposed to be. It’s for someone who wants a serious cutter that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
