The Greenhorn

This Bull Cutter carries a clean line and a steady edge. The blade’s built from a farrier’s rasp, steel that’s lived through real work and come back sharper for it. The deep texture on the steel catches light like it remembers the forge. The handle’s green curly cottonwood has depth and movement, paired with Rafir Calceon and carbon fiber G10 spacers that keep it tight and balanced. At 7 inches overall, it’s a compact, hardworking knife that still turns heads. Built for the bench, the pack, or the saddlebag.

About the Steel

Made from a reclaimed farrier’s rasp, this high-carbon steel holds an edge that lasts. Every groove in the blade is a reminder of its past life shaping iron and grit. Strong, sharp, and proven.

About the Handle

Green curly cottonwood handle with Rafir Calceon detail, carbon fiber and G10 spacer, and black G10 liners. Feels smooth but solid, with a hint of flash in the grain that sets it apart.

About the Sheath

Sheath Included. Every blade leaves my shop with a hand-fit leather sheath. On its own, it’s worth $120, but I don’t sell knives without them. A knife isn’t finished until it’s got a sheath that matches it. Most sheaths you see out there feel plastic-y, like they’d snap if you bent them wrong. That’s not what I pair with these knives. These are cut from thick leather, stitched to last, and made in the USA. Over time they don’t wear out—they wear in. The leather shapes to you, softens to your side, and eventually feels less like gear and more like part of you.
