The Ramrod

Built from a farrier’s rasp, this Bull Cutter carries the same grit and bite as the tool it came from. The blade’s texture tells its own story—each cut mark earned, not stamped. The handle’s cholla cactus core is set with real turquoise in blue resin, held tight by red, white, and blue G10 with a red TruStone spacer. A slice of ranch color that still knows how to work. The faux ivory grip smooths out the wild edges, giving your hand a steady home. At 7 inches overall, it’s compact, honest, and unapologetically western. Meant for a life lived close to the bone.

About the Steel

This blade started life as a farrier’s rasp—high-carbon steel made to shape horse hooves day in and day out. It’s tough, holds an edge, and carries the marks of hard work. Every file tooth you see once had a job, and now it’s got another one.

About the Handle

The handle’s built from cholla cactus filled with turquoise and blue resin, backed by red, white, and blue G10 with a red TruStone spacer. Finished with faux ivory and red liners, it’s rugged, bright, and full of western character.

About the Sheath

Sheath Included. Every blade leaves my shop with a hand-fit leather sheath. On its own, it’s worth $120, but I don’t sell knives without them. A knife isn’t finished until it’s got a sheath that matches it. Most sheaths you see out there feel plastic-y, like they’d snap if you bent them wrong. That’s not what I pair with these knives. These are cut from thick leather, stitched to last, and made in the USA. Over time they don’t wear out—they wear in. The leather shapes to you, softens to your side, and eventually feels less like gear and more like part of you.
